I’m still working heavily on making this website exactly how I want it to be. At this point in time it is useable for registered members to create their accounts, log in, use the forums for discussion and role play, view game information, and so on. The area where I’m still working is trying to create character profiles for all of you to log into and see, for lack of a better word, your character sheet.
I plan to make it so you can not only create your characters on screen but claim them if they’ve already been created (by me). In addition, I plan to include an attendance tracker so you can see how many experience points you’ve accumulated and use them to level your characters. I’m also working on an in-game money tracker which will be updated after each fighter practice or event.
I intend to set the in-game money up as a token buy system, which will allow you to use what you’ve gained through game play in the site store (yet to be built) to purchase garb, weapons, armor, and so on. All items listed in the site store (provided I’m able to make it all happen) will have a buying price in US dollars and/or in-game currency. For instance, let’s say someone wanted to purchase a simple tunic but they don’t have the cash, or maybe even a card to shop online. They have been questing for quite some time and have accumulated a fair amount of in-game coin. On the item page, the tunic price will be listed as $10, 1 Kron, 1 Platinum, 10 Gold, 100 Silver, or 1000 Copper. With our conversion rate, all of these values equal the same. The member in question would click the buy button and be redirected to the checkout page, where they would select the type of currency they plan to use and make the purchase. Shipping information (if applicable) would be entered, and the item would arrive within a few days as if they’d made the purchase with cash or card.

The trouble I’m running into is apparently nobody has done anything like this before (extremely odd as I’m not trying to reinvent the wheel here), at least not on the platform I’ve built this site on.
I will eventually get it the way I want it, but it’s taking longer than I’d hoped. Much of the content I’m having to code from nothing and I’m still what I would consider fairly new to coding.

While I’m bringing it to life, feel free to enjoy the site. Like I said, it still has plenty of functionality even with the things I have yet to finish.
