That was an epic battle against the apparition. So sorry that I had to run, for my wife’s men-at-arms had tracked us down so we had to make and expeditious retreat. Did we manage to get passed the forcefield and interrupt the ritual?
Mage Luc, I thank and commend you for your service in dealing with that dreadful creature. That’s unfortunate about the wife. I’ve been lucky thus far to have avoided such a fate myself. As for your query, my scouts tell me the culprit was defeated and the ritual interrupted, which seems to have ended they crazing mist.
Once again, thank you for your service in this regard. If fortune smiles upon up, by the gods, we may just tame this wild and unforgiving land yet.
